We are looking for more space.
The Monticello Help Center (MHC), founded in 1974, is a food shelf, clothing center and much more. Our mission is to ‘reduce hunger in our community and restore hope to the people we serve’ and in 2017, we served over 3,000 individuals and distributed nearly half a million pounds of food. Most of our donated funds come directly from public support and we greatly appreciate our communities’ help every single day. But we have outgrown our current location.
The food pickup area is crowded; it’s hard to shop and limits food we can stock.
Our clothing center, a service used by many of our clients is very cramped.
We don’t have space to offer other services to our clients.
The lack of storage for bulk purchasing means we miss money saving opportunities.
As we thought about the future, we wondered What If?
What if someone donated a building or property so the food shelf could meet the growing needs of our community?
What if you had knowledge of a building or property that could be donated or purchased at a reduced cost?
What if we could expand our services to clients, and make donation dollars go further?
What if YOU were the one to make it all happen?
If you know of an available building or property, please contact Sandy at 763-295-4031 or firstname.lastname@example.org
